Although sight seeing was incorporated in the trip, visiting such places memorial park and Navy Pier, the majority of the trip was about visiting other schools and our pupils interacting with theirs. Both sets of pupils swopped stories about their countries, their childhoods, traditions and values all of which was done with enthusiasm and many of our pupils remain in contact with their new American friends.

Hunters Hill had the unique opportunity of taking a group of pupils to Chicago USA. Primarily funded by Hunters Hill it allowed pupils to have the unique experience of visiting and ‘tasting’ other cultures. Some of the pupils had never flown before and although apprehensive at first throughout their time in Chicago you could see their confidence grow.
