Pupils are expected to achieve 2/3rds of a level improvement each year during Key stage 3 and external accreditation from the courses provided in Key Stage 4.

All children have the opportunity to experience a creative and inspiring education. In Art and Design we explore visual and sensory experiences. We work with traditional and new media to develop confidence and imagination. We learn the value of images and artefacts from different times and cultures, and how to think and act as artists, craftspeople and designers. We develop an appreciation of art, craft and design, and how it enriches our lives.
